This is where you'll find the answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding taking part in this years Port Perry Fair!

How do I enter an exhibit at the fair?
Check out the “Exhibit” section of our web-site for a complete listing of all categories to find what’s of interest to you. Review the rules carefully and download either a Homecraft or Junior Fair Entry Form. Decide on what you what to enter complete the form and mail it in to the address on the form. If you cannot make the deadline for advance entry, bring the form, along with your exhibit, to the Port Perry Fairgrounds on the Friday prior to the fair between 4 and 7 pm or the Saturday before the fair between 9 and 11 am.

How do I volunteer to join the Port Perry Agricultural Society?
We welcome any volunteers, new members and directors. Please call our President, Janet Goris at 905-986-1392. Janet can provide you with information about our group and invite you to our next meeting. Or, you can call any of the Divisions or Committee chairpersons.

If I’ve won cash or other prize when do I get my winnings?
We try to enter all of the prizes in our computer system as soon as the judges complete their judging. It does take awhile to complete, double check and prepare for distribution. You can drop by the fair office by mid afternoon on Monday or when you come to collect your entries.

When do I find out if I’ve won a prize for a Homecraft exhibit?
The Homecraft exhibits in the Christie Building and the Junior Fair Building open at 9:30 am on Sunday August 31st. Come to see all of the displays and see if you’ve won any prizes.

When is the judging for exhibits done?
Judging of exhibits is done on the Saturday afternoon and often goes on into the evening.
