Rules and regulations
• All cut flowers, plants and flowers used in arrangements, to be grown by the exhibitor, unless otherwise stated.
• Flowers need not be grown from seed.
• Arrangements to be done by the exhibitor.
• Please read the “Helpful hints for the exhibitor” and follow them carefully.
• Flowers should be placed in suitable container of water that will support them and prevent tipping.

Prizes: (Section 23.1-23.12) 1st $5, 2nd $4, 3rd $3, 4th $2 Sponsored by TD Canada Trust, Port Perry

  1. Sunflower, 1 head – maximum 10″ across, including petals
  2. Sunflower, 1 head – over 10″ across, including petals
  3. Dahlia, 1 bloom
  4. Begonia, 1 bloom with foliage, must be floating in a bowl of water.
  5. Marigolds, 3 blooms, any variety.
  6. Hosta, 3 leaves, all different.
  7. Purple cone flower (Echinacea), 3 blooms.
  8. Garden grasses, 3 stems, same variety.
  9. Any other annual, 3 stems, same variety.
  10. Any other perennial, 3 stems, same variety.
  11. Any potted plant. Maximum size of pot 6″ (15cm)
  12. SPECIAL: “Wild and Free” An arrangement of wild flowers and grasses (no berries please). Display in an old boot or shoe.
