(Please note that there is NO age limit on this contest! Previous winners are eligible to enter)
Bread must
· be leavened with yeast
· use enriched dough
· include at least one extra flavouring ingredient
· be in the form of a loaf or buns
Enriched dough contains added ingredients that make it richer and more tender than basic bread dough. Added ingredients could be eggs, butter, sugar, or dairy.
Examples include:
• Brioche
• Chelsea buns
• Babka
• Challah
Extra Flavouring Ingredient means something not typically found in standard bread that enhances flavour.
Examples include:
• Fresh or dried fruit
• Nuts
• Chocolate
• Maple syrup
The above are just examples – feel free to innovate, be creative and have fun!
Please submit your bread on or in a disposable (preferably biodegradable) container. If you use a dish you would like returned, please label it with your name and contact information.
